About Paula

News Flash!  Paula Lin helped launch the first-ever voice over program at Gateway Community College in CT.  Here are what students had to say:

My students had great attitudes, enjoyed learning, and connected with respect for each other. I appreciate them all!

From Marie Cox: Thank you for all of your excellent instruction, information and for making the class so much fun! I'm excited to take it to the next level!

From Yadilav LaViera: I LOVED this course! I would definitely take the next intermediate class -- Paula is great!

From: Ana Arellano: What I enjoyed the most is how Paula brought out the enthusiasm in the class! It was one of the best classes (and experiences) That I've had in a long while.

From JoAnn Sims: "I very much appreciate your (Paula's) professionalism and humor. I look forward to future classes/courses with you (Paula) and would strongly recommend you (Paula) as a professional and skilled, yet down to earth woman."

From Susannah Eldridge: "Paula Lin is a wonderful teacher! She established from the beginning an environment of respect and appreciation for each student. She made clear we had lots of work to do, and each moment of the class there was something for us to take in and then practice. She was direct, tactful and helpful in giving feedback during our practice sessions. She gave us a glimpse of her own experience in voice over in a variety of settings -- a great role model! She made very clear that there are no guarantees of success and especially financial gain -- it is the world of business and much depends on how we try to enter the world, as well as all the factors of the local and national economy that we can't control. We're fortune to be learning from an established professional in the field who is eager to share her wisdom and know-how with eager beginners!"

From Chavon Hampton: "I can't wait for the next class...!"

Other students:

“I really enjoyed Paula -- the information she shared, her optimism and encouragement!”

"Paula Lin is an excellent teacher. She is upbeat without dismissing any off the difficulty inherent in mastering voice over. She is clearly very experienced, professional, and knowledgeable in her field. Yet she maintains a very accessible, helpful, and tactful attitude as she coaches us. She is clear and quite respectful of the individual traits of each student. The course seems quite comprehensive...Thank you for bringing her to us."
